One transmogrification too many and the spurning of Susie Derkins forced an early retirement on Calvin. At nine years of age, he made his way to Sikkim and entered the Rumtek Monastery as a starter monk. He is in bliss there still.Hobbes followed his friend as far as Cooch Behar, where he met a Bengal who was summering there and fell in her thrall. They now live in the Sunderbans.
