If he's an ostrogoth, I can only assume that the reason he was kicked out of the Goth tribe was because of his untidy rug. As they say in Gothland, "Rchnahd spezxlumh ach grashnulkk." In other words, "It'll be satan's hairpiece."
You, sir, must be confusing 'ostro-' with 'ousted.' Such is not the case. Ostrogoths were simply Goths of the rising sun, or eastern Goths. As opposed to Visigoths, who were Goths of the setting sun, or western Goths. Having made the distinction, however, it is true the Ostrogoths were looked down upon by the Visigoths, chiefly due to their combovers and bad hairpieces, but also because of their tendency to groom themselves in battle. The Visigoths, contrarily, shaved their heads and wore antlers, which greatly amused the Ostros, especially when their horns got tangled up in low hanging tree limbs. Once they all grew tired of laughing at each other, they teamed up to take on the Romans, who soundly thrashed the lot of them.
By the by, your axiom is gibberish. No Goth would ever have uttered such nonsense. Sounds Trixish to me.
