(n.) a mere misprint for moneyer, found only in Shakespeare’s Henry IV.

A thoroughly doubtful word. As dubious as Gadshill, whose financial backers were beyond reproach. But maybe he’s a one-eyer. Burgomasters can be extremely short sighted, you know.
