I cry uncle to you!!! Where do you sell your "folklore faces come to life"? I noticed that you trade with Steph....is that the key to owning one of these treasures?? Are you interested in a trade?
Enjoyed your blog on Arkansas Churches...I collect Tobacco Barns in the same way!
I've admired some of your dark architecture on your etsy site. Your Babba Yagga I know to be a remix of one you have for sale there, but I haven't seen Babba Yagga come up there. Want to trade for the remix?
You also have a photo titled Southern Beauty. That, I believe is a 1955 Ford pickup truck, and is the same model I used to own. Her name was Bess, and she was the only vehicle I ever loved. Maybe we can strike up a trade for it?
I've been wanting to start an etsy shop for awhile now, so I just registered in another window. Thanks for inspiring me. I have no idea what to do next, but I'm sure I'll figure it out.
I think Babba Yagga is playing with me...I wrote a comment today around 3:30...yet it is not here! It went something like this...
I would be thrilled to trade with you. Of course the remix is yours, and just let me know the photo/s of the Ford pick up you like. Do you want 5x7's or 8x10's? Your wish is my command!
Please email me at dgmidkiff@yahoo.com with your wishes and your address so I can send along to you.
I was introduced to Babba Yagga by a local writer, Orson Scott Card. He is more famous for his Science Fiction genre Ender series. But he wrote a lovely fairytale, incorporating Babba Yagga as the heavy, called Enchantment I usually read Preston/Child, or any historical thriller I can find. So the book Enchanment was a nice break.
Let me know if I can be of any assistance with your Etsy adventure. I think you will be please with the community you are now a part of. It guided me to great artists like Steph...and you of course! Sales are important...but this community is so much more!!
