Ixion offed his father-in-law, which Zeus forgave.  Then Ixion tried to seduce Zeus's wife, Hera.  Mustn't do that.  Zeus whipped up a fake Hera out of a cloud.  Ixion bonked her.  Zeus tied Ixion to an eternally spinning and burning wheel.  Meanwhile, back on earth, the cloud gave birth to the deformed outcast, Centaurus, first in a long line of drunken and debauched centaurs.
