Semantic origin? "Troglo-" usually denotes one who lives underground, such as a troglodyte (lives deep in caves and does not emerge), troglophile (ventures into caves occasionally), and trogloxene (lives in caves but hunts elsewhere). The only thing I can think of regarding "mithra" is the fabled strong silver of the Dwarves of Middle Earth, from which they made their wonderous
"mithril" chain mail. Any connection?
