Ghost of Christmas Past

So the figure itself fluctuated in its distinctness: being now a thing with one arm, now with one leg, now with twenty legs, now a pair of legs without a head, now a head without a body: of which dissolving parts, no outline would be visible in the dense gloom wherein they melted away. And in the very wonder of this, it would be itself again; distinct and clear as ever.

Great theme Howdyboy!

Chuck Dicken's A Christmas Carol is by far the best Christmas story ever written.

It's also a great movie done many times in both dramatic and musical form not to mention animation as well.

My favorite is the 1951 version starring Alistair Sim but I also like the 1938 film with Reginald Owen.

Alas I digress.

Keep up the good work. I look forward to appearances by the other two ghosts if that is where you are headed.

No matter. Have a Merry Christmas mon frere.

I agree. The Alistair Sim Scrooge is the best.

I love the story partly because it steers clear of all the Christian dogma. It says we make our heaven or our hell here on earth.

I'm glad you still check out my little zoo from time to time.

If you ever feel like taking a drive, come visit us. We'd love to have you.

Merry Christmas and all the best for 2009.
