Did calcite man come from Magnet Cove, or does it just look that way? If so he's actually Carbonatite Man, and might have his own TeeVee show on Saturday mornings. And since it is a form of calcite, he may be using that as an aka.
Let's just say he was inspired by Magnet Cove after the fact. Doesn't actually look too much like calcite - or brookite either - but he damn sure looks magnetcovian to me.
